The house with its adjacent apartment is located on Hobart Street, just five blocks from the Chico State campus. The close proximity makes both walking and riding a bicycle very positive options, saving you from the expenses of gas and parking at Chico State. If you are attending Butte College, you might want a car for access to the major campus (bus service is available) but we are only three blocks from Chico High School, where some of the in-town/night classes are held.

Directions from Highway 99

• Coming into Chico from either direction on Highway 99, take the East 1st Avenue off ramp (this is not to be confused with the East Avenue off ramp which is a couple of miles north of East 1st).
• Go west on East 1st Avenue (from the north this is a right turn; from the south it is a left turn under the freeway).
• The fourth stoplight is the Esplanade, a wide avenue with trees in the center. Please continue on East 1st Avenue.
• The fourth street on the right is Hobart Street. Please turn right.
• Follow Hobart Street across 2nd Avenue.
• In the middle of the block, on the right, there is one house set back from the street with a park like front yard. The number is 1250. Congratulations, you made it!
